The Switch Up

Theres been a change of plans. LOL, that sounded so serious and demanding I just had to use it. On a serious note I love Fashion. But having a blog just solely dedicated to it wouldn't serve me nor my blog justice. So there has to be some changes made. This blog will be everything that I love, not just one aspect. I will be posting the latest books that i've read and some of my favorite ones. I will be posting brands that I adore wether it be clothes, health and wellness, anything that I feel should be shared to the masses. So from this day forth this blog will be things that I, Tatyana love. Thank you to everyone who has viewed my blog thus far and I hope to continue on this journey with you all. Growing, experiencing and learning with you all, Thank you.

VIRGIL ABLOH SLAYS SS19 AGAIN !

I can honestly say that when Virgil first made the announcement back in December while sitting down for an  interview  with Tomm Bettridge and Young Thug, that he'd be creating his next line after the late and great Micheal Jackson I didn't know what to think. i had all the faith in the world in Virgil, but after seeing countless designers butcher everything that MJ bought to the world fashion wise, it left little room for faith. After seeing the Paris Fashion Week show for myself I can honestly say that Virgil OUTDID HIMSELF. first of all the bags thooooo ! my personal favorite is the  iridescent keep all bag  with the oil slick finish and they keylink strap. absolutely AMAZING fave is the from the start you know this man came into Louis Vuitton with one thing on his mind, change. From the vibrant colors to the gradients and textures Kim Jones ( the Streetwear Guru)  I love you man but you couldn't have found yourself a better successor. This has been...

Code Name: The Secret Weapon

At the start of Season 2 for the "Black-ish" spin off "Grown-ish" produced by Kenya Barris the fashion flood gates re-opened and are showing no signs of letting up. Yet, after constant eyebrow snatching looks from Yara Shahidi's character "Zoey Johnson" and her college crew. Consisting of up and coming fashion icon Luka Sabbat who's character is named after him, and singing group ChloexHalle, all who have their own distinctive styles outside the show (which is why they are not here to play games with the looks they serve every wednesday night on freeform), I stayed up until 3 AM doing a whole lot of reasearch. And I was given a preview into the world of the  woman Kenya Barris has labelled his "secret weapon" and the " magic fashion elf", the magnificent Michelle Cole. After countless article readings I am literally in awe of everything that she has accomplished in her career. Her style, vision and her ability to mesh low p...

Michelle Obama in Balenciaga

A note to my viewers

I am creating this blog with the intentions of sharing my own fashion inspirations and ideas with the masses. With people that have changed the way that I look at fashion both men and women. Looks that I’ve seen on a daily basis, whether it be on the streets of NY, or on my many social media outlets and even my own friends and family. I do not own the rights to any of the peoples pictures that will be posted here, and I hope that these images ignite the fashionista inside of all of you. sparking the inspiration to go out and try some of these looks for yourself or even add a little twist of your own. I cant wait to embark on this journey with all of you. thank you for visiting xoxo, Tatyanaxxl.
