I can honestly say that when Virgil first made the announcement back in December while sitting down for an interview with Tomm Bettridge and Young Thug, that he'd be creating his next line after the late and great Micheal Jackson I didn't know what to think. i had all the faith in the world in Virgil, but after seeing countless designers butcher everything that MJ bought to the world fashion wise, it left little room for faith. After seeing the Paris Fashion Week show for myself I can honestly say that Virgil OUTDID HIMSELF. first of all the bags thooooo ! my personal favorite is the iridescent keep all bag with the oil slick finish and they keylink strap. absolutely AMAZING fave is the from the start you know this man came into Louis Vuitton with one thing on his mind, change. From the vibrant colors to the gradients and textures Kim Jones ( the Streetwear Guru) I love you man but you couldn't have found yourself a better successor. This has been Virgil's second show for Louis Vuitton since taking over as Mens Artistic Director, the whole aura around the brand has become way more playful, colorful, fun and just vivid. if i could be a fashion show it would literally be the Paris and New York shows that Virgil curated smashed into one and stuffed into my favorite keep all. he killed it nothing short of perfect, I cannot wait to see what else he has in store for us. AND I PRAY TO THE FUNDS GODS THAT ONE DAY MY POCKETS WILL GROW TO MEET THESE PRICE EXPECTATIONS ! ( Full show below)
